Being a be'er
19 Oct 2023|Papa God & Denae Roth
Let's be honest. I'm a go'er, a do'er. I love the fast pace of busy life, constant movement, things filling up the spaces in my day. I don't like to wait, I want to do it now. So no, I'm not the most paitent person. But right now I'm in the wilderness, stale air surrounds me. Every move foward feels like five steps back, nothings going any where, my plans are crumbling around me, yes MY PLANS not GODS. Yet in this stale, unmoving, dry land there is a reasson. Papa God is teaching me to be a be'er, not a do'er or a go getter, not a loud gushing waterfall but a trickling stream of love and obiedence. Right here, right now we get to discover the glory and love of our God, in the lonely dryed out wholes in our hearts He speaks life into existence. Slowly I am learning to be paitent to wait for His timming, slowly learning that it was never about what I could do, who I could be but who and what He does for me. When life seems at a stand still ad it's quiet all around we are living out a beautiful command in Psalms 46:10 "Be STILL and KNOW that I am God." In the stillness of the dry wilderness we learn to know the God of mircales as our faithful Shephered. We don't just know Him by name but we know His voice, His pressence, the song He sings over us. Your in the deseret for a reasson, your in the deseret to be a be'er, to do nothing else but be. When the bussiness of life doesn't pull away our attention we recognize the manna that's new every single morning. You can't save His goodness from yestereday because today He has something completely new and exactly what you need. He is providing springs to gush forth, so lean in, it's not as boring as it feels. Look up, look around, look inside, He's there, He's everywhere. In your pain, in your heart break, in the roller coaster of life, He is a present Father and a good Shephered. It's up to us to let Himlove us to feel His love to know His heart to let Him lead to take our hands off our life and just believe. Will you let Him be God? Will you just be, be at His feet? The deseret is the dryest hardest places and yet where the most beautiful life burst forth, if you choose to see the stillness in this place as a calling as a invitation to dine with the King of Kings. It's just a time and a seasson, it won't last forever. Will you be a be'er?
(I'm not just speaking at you I am speaking to this place in my life! I am deffinetly not perfect at being a be'er in the desseret, but we get to let God mold us into His perfect plan.
